Bug in Logos 4 Mac
I am trying to add a note to a selection of Bible text. I highlight the desired text, right click it and select Add Note to Personal Notes. The Personal Notes open, BUT DO NOT SHOW THE NOTE I AM TRYING TO ADD! Instead, it shows my old notes (I have hundreds) in apparently random order. I can't find the note that I am supposedly adding to type into it. I have to try to scroll down through hundreds of notes in an attempt to locate the one I need. This is also true if I try to edit a previous note...I can't find it!
In the PC version I used before, all I had to do was click on the note and the actual note would open for editing. I have been very frustrated that such a simple thing doesn't work correctly!
Another problem I have is that only SOME of my notes actually pop up when I hover the mouse pointer over the note icon. The others just say "Personal Notes" but have no other text!

Nichols, welcome to L4 Mac and to this forum. Unfortunately, what you are reporting is a known issue with the Mac version. There have been multiple complaints on this forum, but little—or no—response from the Mac Dev Team as to when we can expect relief.
In another thread on another forum, Bob Pritchett (Logos CEO) mentioned work on a new Notes format. Perhaps that is the reason these flaws have not been addressed in L4Mac. I do not have any inside information; just speculating.

Some of the bugs in L4M are random in nature, I sometimes have a problem with a note and sometimes I do not. So I try to do my notes in L4 instead. It should still save your note in L4M from my experience, it usually doesn't maintain good formatting so I correct them in L4.
I'm sure this is something the L4M dev guys are working on, wish they'd give us an update on their progress.

One sync issue fixed in 4.3 Beta 2; couple bugs fixed in 4.3 Beta 3, editing keyboard shortcuts added plus crash fix in 4.3 Beta 5"
Appears Logos developers are working on Mac Notes in current 4.3 Beta cycle.
