This is Rob Parkinson. Home is now Herefordshire UK I have had various jobs: baker, rural evangelist, care worker, and factory operative from which I took early retirement.
I have only had Logos for around a couple of years, and am looking on it being a luxury I have experienced quite late in life!
At present, because I am trying to complete a course in New Testament Greek,I am using various Greek Grammars; but as our church house group is going through Mark,I am also looking up commentaries. My main aim is to understand the text of Scripture ,and in it's proper context.I like using the interlinear with all the information as to parts of speech etc.
I love spending time with my wife and grown up daughters.Going into town and getting back home in the country side.
Whilst grappling with Greek ,I am also in the process of completing my daughters wedding cake.As I have only made the odd Christmas cake before ,it will be a challenge!

My name is John Besse and I am a retired United Methodist Elder and a member of the North Texas Annual Conference. I am 62 and live in Sauk Centre, MN. I began using Logos 4 this March and I have been exploring Camp Logos and Learning Greek and Hebrew using Logos. I am retooling as I decide what I want to do when I grow up.
I read and work on with my computers and setting up a network for my new Ministry Ideas.
I grew up and was ordained a Southern Baptist in a wide variety of churches. I attended seminary and served as a mission pastor in MI before the purges of the 70's and 80's. I was a single adult at the Crystal Cathedral in the 70's. The first UMC church I served as an associate was a combination of Bible church folk and Charismatics. I learned from both. I am currently attending an ELCA congregation with my wife Linda who is a deacon there.
