Some Issues with Vyrso
When logged on with my Logos user details ( via WiFi connection ) the Library lists 919 available publications. In Logos 4 on my laptop there are 1010 publications listed. However using the same logon details with the Logos App ( also connected via WiFi ) there are only 20 publications available and no number is shown at the top of the Library screen.
- This is rather puzzling!
I tried Vyrso with the novel The Facade. I enjoyed it very much. I have not even tried to read a novel for a number of years however there were some typos which ought ot be corrected. The L4 software has the facility for reporting these but where are they reported when in Vyrso?
Also while reading The Facade I was able to look up the Bible references simply by tapping them in the text. I could even read them in context by going to the Bible from the pop up window. That was great. But I did notice that sometimes a time would also open up a Bible reference. E.g.: "6:30 A.M." would open to Matthew 6:30.

Hi Graham, when you are in the library make sure you "pull" the screen down by stroking down with your finger and then the number of resources should show in the top middle of the screen. Also make sure nothing is in the search window to see the total number of resources.

Also make sure library is on and not recent books. At the top of the screen. They are almost the same color.

There is one resource listed, "1 resources", under Recent Books and twenty in total in the Library.
In the screen shot above the Library is highlighted, there is no grey area with the number of resources listed and the slider on the right side indicates it is at the top of the page, pulled down to reveal nothing above the top listed resource.

Unless your app works differently than mine, you have the "recent books" highlighted. You can tell because it is darker than the other. Also, did you check to make sure you don't have anything in the search box? If anything is in there, it will (of course) filter your results, which can make it appear that you have less than you really do. If this problem persists, I would contact Logos.

Generally, we will not be able to fix typos in Vyrso eBooks. As Bob said in this thread,
The eBooks sold at Vyrso.com are different from the Logos Editions at Logos.com in that they are created by the publishers (as EPUB format eBooks), not by Logos.
and in this thread,
Vyrso is selling automatically processed eBooks, derived from publisher-provided EPUB files. We've long maintained that Logos Editions (as we're now calling them) are superior to EPUB books, and Logos puts a lot of work into building quality electronic books.
There may be more we can do to automatically tag/enhance the EPUB books (like the reference tagging). In some egregious cases we may even manually edit and fix a book. But in most cases, the eBook Editions will be limited to what we get from the publisher.
(As you can imagine, there are financial issues here, too, and we have different license terms on these titles.)
However, in the case of The Facade I can pass on any typos you found to the publisher if you post them here.
Also while reading The Facade I was able to look up the Bible references simply by tapping them in the text. I could even read them in context by going to the Bible from the pop up window. Like Bob said, the reference tagging is being done automatically. The first version of The Facade had the times tagged as you noticed, but the problem has since been corrected. If you downloaded the resource for offline use you will need to remove it and download the corrected version.
Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks,
Some confusion there obviously: The Recent Books which was displayed darker was highlighted and the lighter Library was not highlighted - that makes sense!
The details in the search box. Also the "Recent Books" doesn't show a number at the top but diplays the twenty most recent books.

I think "data" is being used in the scientific sense as a plural, where "datum" is the singular.
Thanks for taking the time to post these. I'll pass them along.
