I am currently using Logos 4.3 SR-2 (4.30.0.1572), However, in the Tools Menu, everything in Bible Facts is grayed out...any suggestions? Thanks.
Welcome to the forums Robert.
If you have the Christian Home Library package it does not come with the Bible Facts part of the program, all the others include it.
You can see this on the Comparison page http://www.logos.com/comparison at the bottom under Features and Databases.
If you have a package that includes it, please repost here.
Here is my path into Logos 4. I had the Logos 3 Scholars Library. (with quite a few additional books I puirchased) I Purchased an additional book wanting it for my library, but then noticed I had to have Logos 4 for the book. I also noticed there was a program with the book. I decided to install the program to see what happened...Voila...I had Logos 4 on my computer. So, if what I have does not have the Facts tools, who am I to complain. I plan on upgrading my Scholar's library soon anyway. The book which I added was the SBL Greek NT with Aparatus.
Looking at Logos 4 minimal crossgrade => http://www.logos.com/minimalcrossgrade noticed Logos 4 resources needed for Bible Facts: People, Places, and Things (plus many more). A base package upgrade also includes Logos 4 resource licenses, which are needed to use many Logos 4 features.
Keep Smiling [:)]
I understand. The way I'm using it now has allowed me to get a good feel for Logos 4, and am definitely at some point (when it is financially feasable on my part) going to upgrade to the Logos 4 Scholar's Library.
I plan on upgrading my Scholar's library soon anyway.
KS4J gave you the minimal crossgrade link, but you would be better off upgrading before the current upgrade discounts disappear. I suggest using the website to get an idea of how far you want to upgrade and then contact sales to get more information and pricing for your particular order.
You will really enjoy Logos4!
EDIT: You do know that they have payment plans. They work well for the larger purchases. You can spread payments out up to 12 months with a $5 monthly payment processing fee. There is no penalty for paying it off early, and you only pay the $5 on the payments that are processed on the plan.
