Dear Brothers and Sisters,
This is my first contribution of the Logos Forum community. Hope that you guys would find it useful.
This is a classic work by Watchman Nee, a Chinese christian.
Please feel free for bug reports. Thanks.
Sorry to pour cold water on this.
Since he only died in 1972, isn't this work copyrighted?
I am not sure. I downloaded a few different versions online and thought that it is in public domain.
One of the link is here: http://www.ccel.org/ccel/nee/normal.html
Please tell me if I am wrong. I am not using this ebook version to convert to PBB but something else.
Thanks a lot.
If you go to CCEL, click on Browse>Author>N and expand Watchman Nee The Normal Christian Life has a copyright symbol beside it.
If you click on the "more information" link on that page it shows that it was copyrighted in 1961.

I'll bet Watchman Nee wouldn't be concerned one bit whether it was copyrighted or not since he was concerned more with preaching and teaching the word than peddling the gospel.
Sorry, guys. Copyright is more nontrivial that I thought.
When would it be expired? 50 years?
What does it mean when other site said it is not in copy right?
By the way, the copy I used is not from the CCEL, I used that only as an example of the ebooks I got. Will that make a difference?
Thanks.
