Logos/Vyrso for Android 0.9.4 Beta 1

We have released Beta 1 of 0.9.4 today. This will be a non-market release.
Any idea on when the release to Market will occur, I'm trying to avoid problems with the beta, at the moment I'm satisfied with my Fire, but would love to see highlighting and notes added... any chance that will happen soon? Using the Kindle Fire "back page" and also the "history" under more in the app is allowing me to switch back and forth in Bibles and and resources, so don't take too long or I'll get tempted to install the beta.
Thanks for all the effort you put into this!

Not soon and definitely after it appears for iOS (which could be soon[:)])

[:(] Was hoping that all the success the Fire was having, they'd be all over this... more sales for Vyrso E-books, though the L4 books work better on the Fire then either the Kindle or Vyrso E-books. Oh well, I'm just happy I have a cheap way of reading my resources away from my PC.

The very first time you open the second pane in Logos for Android, it will either be your preferred bible (if you have a non-bible open in the first panel) or the Summarized Bible of the New Testament (if you have a bible open in the first panel).
I can't speak to how iOS works, but on Android, that setting is only supposed to be cleared if you uninstall the app or clear the app's data. Let me know if it occurs without you doing either of those things. Thanks!
Will do. I am thinking the time I saw this happen on the Kindle Fire I had uninstalled the Logos app that I downloaded from the Amazon app store and loaded the most recent beta instead. That would make loading the Summarized Bible the correct behavior based on your explanation. I will watch for any other behavior and report back.

Not that I doubt you but do you have a source for that info? It has been explained on the iOS side that notes and highlights are done, submitted, and waiting for release of desktop 4.5. Since desktop 4.5 is in RC now that is probably just around the corner. Is Android development a couple steps behind? Just curious too: Devs, are you using MonoDroid and MonoTouch?

Thank you, I am not a twitter(er) so I missed that. it is too bad as I have kind of taken a liking to my Kindle Fire at the moment but might have to break the iPad out when notes are released. I really feel for Logos having to try and keep all this up to speed together. Mac, Windows, Web, iOS, Android, oh my.

I don't twitter either, but I got it via the person who asked the question.

Thank you for the split screen and linking. This app just keeps getting better and better; can't wait to see what's coming next! Works great on my DroidX.

I love the split screen. However, it reinforces the need for more granularity in font size. When I am reading a single book, I use "Large". But this font size is too big for split screen. Unfortunately, "Normal" is a bit small on a 7 inch tablet.
