The Life of Dwight L. Moody was written by his son, William R. Moody, in accordance with the request made by his father shortly before he died. Although William was without extensive literary experience, he undertook the preparation of this biography with the purpose of correcting inaccuracies and misstatements that were being published in other "unauthorized" biographies. The lack of experience did not hinder the project, as The Life of Dwight L. Moody is a complete and remarkable record of the great evangelist, and William has garnished the volume with more than 100 photos from the family archive.
