Logos 4 Mac won't fully open
An update installed today and, afterwards, Logos will not fully open. I can see the menu bar at the top of my screen, but the Homepage never opens and if I attempt to open it from the menu bar (File, Open, etc.), nothing happens. Any suggestions?
iMac 27 inch, 3.1 GHz Core i5, 1T HD, 4 GB RAM

I have the same problem on my iMac. I am downloading the update to see if it fixes it, but I am not hopeful. [:S]

Update to 4.5b SR-1 had no effect upon this problem. Here is my log: 1205.Logos4.log

Wonder it rebuilt a Personal Book recently ?
Noticed Home Page has reading plan errors for PBB:ee2d8effe0ad46f7ae6755b6c0a54fa4 resource (article 1 has Why should I read the bible).
Wonder if can launch Logos 4.5b SR-1 to a blank layout ? Wiki has => Logos 4 Keyboard Shortcuts For Mac has sign in tip using command key.
Wonder about deleting reading plan for Personal Book, sync, then quit Logos 4 Mac, followed by normal launch to see if crash repeats (and new diagnostic log if crash repeats).

If using stable Logos 4 release (likely since 4.5b SR-1 was released today), one suggestion is contacting Logos Mac Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
The other suggestion is enabling, then posting diagnostic log files (in a compressed archive) for Logos user and employee comments. Hopefully the log files provide insight about not fully opening.
Could enable diagnostic logging, restart Mac, launch Logos 4 Mac, click "Sign In" if dialog box appears. If Logos Bible Software 4 window does not appear, wait for 4 minutes. If still no window, then compress log files and attach to a forum reply. Wiki Mac Troubleshooting has => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac
Optional: download and use 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.

The posted Logos4.log file had a number of messages about Personal Book resource version not matching one used when reading plan was created, hence my question about Personal Book rebuild recently. Whether buggy or not, personally not (yet) know.
Currently seems prudent to delete reading plan(s) for personal book(s) before rebuilding personal book(s), which can be followed by recreating reading plan(s) using newer personal book resource(s).

The personal book was compiled on both computers, rather than your method. Think that is to blame?
By the way, do you have a link to your method? Perhaps I will be a little more adventuresome. [:)]

Building a Personal Book does update metadata, which is synced between Logos 4 Installations.

Reply => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/42036/313207.aspx#313207 has all the steps for copy lbspbb file (after building), then scan in another Logos 4 installation (works between Mac and PC).
