Probably the YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association). They have a Christian charter but no longer hold to that in the traditional historical way. :-)
Alabama24, interesting. Maybe there is something that connection is trying to do that a network security setting might see as a threat and then prevent. I wonder how the connection is made via the WiFi to the Logos servers?

I forgot to mention it, but when I sync via only one way, I do NOT have to leave to close the app from the multitask tray and then re-open it. I can simply close and re-open it and all sources are updated immediately. There is not a need to worry about the multitask window any longer. Cool.

It does work properly if I only use WiFi and not 3G/4G.
This is not my experience on my iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1. The sync works for me both over WiFi and 3G. I don't have a 4G compatible phone to test on, but I doubt that would make a difference.
During my test I changed a tag on the ESV on my MacBook Pro. I then quit Logos from my multi-task list, reopened Logos on the phone, and checked the ESV. The tags were added successfully.
Robert, can you change one thing piece of metadata on a book, and try to get it to sync on your phone over 3G/4G? If it doesn't work post the logs. Can you then do the same thing (obviously you don't' again have to re-change the metadata) except over WiFi and post those logs as well?

Seriously, how do we get to these logs? I hope it is very simple. Now that I have a solutions, I honestly don't feel like doing a whole lot more. This was already too much time wasted, taking me away from using the tool to seek the Lord. Since I am not a beta tester, I really have no vested interest now that it is working.
On a side note, I guess this is why Jesus (the carpenter... no, not the music group) loves developers... they both love to work on logs and use them to make things with! [:P]

I think you missed part of my last post. The app is always logging what Logos is doing. You can obtain the logs by going to to More> About, and tap "send support info" You can email that to yourself, and then post the result to the thread. Please identify which is which.
If the issue isn't that big of a deal to you that's fine. You can forgo the above instructions.

Yes, that is very simple. When I have some time, I will do this. We are moving this weekend from an apartment to a town house, so I have some boxes I need to take care and need to finish up for work early this week. Thank you for the explanation from the both of you. It is much appreciated.

I haven't noticed the problem could be related to the use of different or single network connections. I have both iPhone and iPad running both types of connection, WiFi and 3G. It connects and disconnects according to the WiFi availability. When being abroad I use just WiFi on my iPad. So it is hard to say. But I will watch that and do some experiments as I have a time.
