Release 1.7.0.0195 (released 10/1/12)

New Features

  • Improved song lyric display by determining the font size line by line, rather than applying one font size to the entire song based on the longest line.

New Features on Windows

  • Added Powerpoint Control. When importing a Powerpoint on Windows, you can now choose to “Transfer Control to Powerpoint”. This means that the Powerpoint presentation will open within your Proclaim presentation, driven by Powerpoint.
    • You still have the ability to convert the Powerpoint to images, which will allow you to sync between groups.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug which caused certain Bible passages to create extra, incorrect signals on Bible Service Items. (See this thread)
  • Fixed bug which prevented automatic syncing upon going On Air. This in turn caused problems with some items, such as signals, which were edited just before going On Air but not given the chance to sync.
  • Fixed bug which caused edited signals not to update until after slide change.

Bug Fixes for Mac

  • Fixed issue which prevented Powerpoint import on OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion).
    • Currently, you can import PPT Powerpoint presentations on 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8. You cannot successfully import PPTX Powerpoint presentations on 10.6, 10.7, and 10.8.
  • Fixed “Import Powerpoint” dialog window to match Windows.
  • Fixed bug which caused month name to show in a low-contrast font color on the Signals date picker on Mountain Lion.
  • Fixed bug which caused controls to appear before window background when opening a popup window.
  • Fixed bug which caused control menu items to redraw with overlapping text in Customize view.
  • Fixed bug which caused key presses such as right and left arrow keys to navigate slides while in Edit mode On Air.

Bug Fixes for Windows

  • Fixed bug which prevented timeline enlargement in Preview mode while On Air. (See this thread)
  • Fixed bug which caused crawl text created prior to going On Air to crawl very quickly.

Note on Minimum Version OS

  • Mac OS X 10.5.8 is no longer supported by Proclaim.

    Bug Fixes for Mac

    • Fixed bug which caused font picker drop down in Customize view to lack scrollbar.
