Reflections on the earthly life and ministry of Jesus by author Dorothy Sayers, along with some criticism of the Christianity of her day (first printed in 1938)

These are two, somewhat short reflections one focusing on pious boredom addressed by the incarnation of Jesus, and another on the problem of evil which she resolves by pointing to the cross and resurrection of Jesus. Though she can be a bit arrogant, Sayers is still witty compelling, and often poignant.
