Multiple Issues with Proclaim

I recently purchased the On-Air License from the Proclaim application. But, I'm trying to use the software and having the following issues (I'm using a Mac):

1. The Preferences option in the Proclaim menu is greyed out and cannot be selected... Why?

2. I try to add multiple members (actually, 4) to the group but could only do it for 2.

3. I cannot import songs from text files; I'm getting an error but Proclaim does not describe the error!

Anyone can help me to solve these issues?

    1. The Preferences option in the Proclaim menu is greyed out and cannot be selected... Why?

That menu item is an artifact of the Mac operating system. There is not a Preferences menu in Proclaim in that sense; all of your Preferences are available via the menus in the Proclaim UI.

    2. I try to add multiple members (actually, 4) to the group but could only do it for 2.

Could you give a little more information on how you were doing this and what problem you encountered? Were you trying to add group members by email address from within Proclaim, in the "Set up groups" dialog? Did you get an error message? Were you trying to add members from within Faithlife? Did you get an error message?

    3. I cannot import songs from text files; I'm getting an error but Proclaim does not describe the error!

Song lyrics can be imported from plain text files in the format that CCLI uses. If you exported your songs from Media Shout, Easy Worship, or Song Select, the text file should follow the appropriate formatting. If your file was not exported from one of those programs, it may be that it does not have the correct formatting supported by Proclaim.

Thanks for your response. I already clarified the first 2 issues.

Regarding the third issue, what format it should have in order to import the songs?

I have several files with multiple spanish song lyrics on each file.

Essentially, if you are importing via the "Import songs" dialog on the account menu, the format will be dictated by the media program you are exporting from and will include, among other strictly formatted items, a CCLI number on the file. It sounds like you probably do not have this.

What you can do is import your songs via the "File" link on a Song Service item. This will import just about anything, though in reality it is simply pulling in the text from your file, so it's not much different than copying and pasting the text from your file into the lyrics field.

Once you've added a title to your song, it will appear in your song library, so if you want to use it in future, all you have to do is begin to type the song title into the title field and it should appear in the suggestive text drop down.

I have the same problem here.

It is giving me an error although it is a plain text file.

What is the format i should use?

Plain text is the desired format. What is the error you're seeing?
