Ellen White in Spanish for Logos
I just noticed, much to my surprise, that a Spanish version of Ellen White's writings and the SDA Bible Commentary is already available for Logos:

When did that happen? I pay careful attention to all pre-publication offers, and don't remember seeing this.
I am not a native Spanish speaker, but I teach New Testament at Montemorelos University, Mexico. Dr. Felix Cortez and myself teach our students a decent amount of Logos as a tool for exegesis and sermon preparation. It is great news that this resource is now available to them in Spanish. However, I hope they can offer a good introductory price, then I will certainly promote it when our students return in a month's time.
Questions for Martin Weber:
- Could you talk to Logos and Asociación Casa Editora Sudamericana and see if an introductory offer can be made available?
- What kind of tagging is done? Are all Bible references properly tagged (like in all other Logos resources), or not (like in the English version of Ellen White's writings)?

Reimer, I'd like to get the foreign language Adventist materials listed on the SDA landing page. Since before I arrived, the Spanish department has been caring for the Adventistas. But still they can be listed on the SDA landing page.
BTW, would you tell me if the EGW writings in Spanish are updated with the latest indexing, or whether they are like the English version, still in the earlier Libronix. I'm working hard on getting the English updated and am just as interested in the status of the Spanish and Portuguese EGW versions. If anyone on this forum can tell me about them, please let me know.

Martin, I just discovered the product on the Logos website and have not bought it myself yet. I thought the price was a bit steep, and was hoping you could give us some more information about the product (indexing, tagging).

For the past few weeks we've been having many conversations among ourselves here at Logos as well as with the White Estate about updating her writings with the latest tagging in English, and I would like to see the Spanish and Portuguese versions as well. It's a complex process--both the procurement and then the technology of it. I'm told that the exquisite tagging process in the Logos system results in coding that may exceed the size of the book--it's quite an expensive and time-consuming process, which explains why books in the Logos system cost more than regular ebooks, such as those sold on our own Vyrso website (which are not tagged/indexed like books under the Logos label).
