Hi Melissa,
My Greek Audio Bible does not work with Logos 4. The Pronunciation of The First Hebrew Primer also does not work on Logos 4. Can you solve this problem?
Dan
Dan, could you check the version of your First Hebrew Primer to see if it is the same as Thomas'? (See my post above for how to find it.) The newer book appears to be the problem. I'm checking into the Greek Audio Bible.

Hi Dan,
That is the version of the print book. With the First Hebrew Primer open, click on the Info icon ("i" in circle) to get the Support Info, including version, and post it here. My guess is that you have the newer version, as Thomas does, and I've reported the problem with that version.
Also, for future issues, please start a new thread for each new issue on the regular Logos 4 forum.
Thanks,

Dan,
If you open either the NA27, NA27 w/ McReynolds Interlinear, or NA27 with Gramcord Morphology, then press Ctrl+R for Read Aloud, does Prof Schwandt's voice begin reading and a green circle appear in the text as he reads? If the default Read Aloud voice reads instead, and the green visual cue doesn't move over each word, then Logos 4 may still need to download the required file. Try typing update resources in Command box to see if that command will download the file.
Thanks,
Melissa0 -

Hi Melissa,
Your suggestions are working. Do I have to do Ctrl+R for Read Aloud everytime I want to listen Audio Greek Bible?

Dan
Yes, you'll have to press Ctrl+R or choose Read Aloud from the resource panel menu to begin the audio. Also, your version of the First Hebrew Primer is the newer version that had to be rebuilt. An updated version with pronunciation working will be automatically downloaded to your system soon.

HI Melissa,
I have Wesleyan Bible Commentary Series. When I studied verses using Logos 3, it would appear under commentary. But I cannot find Wesleyan Bible Commentary Series in Logos 4 using study guide under commentary. I checked Logos 4 library , it was there. Indexing library of my Logos 4 was completed already. Can you solve this problem for me?

Daniel,
This should probably be a new topic in the L4 forum.
The best I can suggest is look first in the Library to see it's "Type" (change the view if necessary to find the type). If it is not listed as a commentary, report it here: Metadata correction proposals

Hi Dan,
This should be in a new thread, however, I'll reply here. If you're referring to "A Bible Commentary in the Wesleyan Tradition" commentaries, they are listed under "Bible Commentary" type, so it may be that you just need to prioritize them in your Library. They're not seen as a series, though, so you won't be able to right click on one and choose "Prioritize this series," as with some commentary sets--they'll have to be added individually. For example, I just added the Acts commentary above other commentaries in my Prioritize list, and when I run a Passage Guide on Acts 1:1-5, that resource is first in the Commentaries section. You can also create a collection of the commentaries, then add a Collections section, with that one selected, to a custom Passage Guide ("My Passage Guide").

Hi Melissa,
Thanks for your information. If I type Mark 2:1, I can get 60 commentary books from my Logos 3. But I just can get 50 books. I do not think it is right. So far I cannot trust Logos 4 for the indexing feature. I have a ot of book did not link together.

Hi Thomas,
It is commentary type. Something wrong on the Logos 4's indexing. It did not link all the related books together.

Hi melissa,
I had Calvin 500 collections. It claims that this set contains 108 volums. But I counted it only had 75 volums. Can you explain the difference?

Hi Dan,
The Calvin 500 collection contains 75 books, however, there are a total of 108 volumes from the print editions that are included in those 75. The product page lists all the volumes under 'Electronic Titles Included': http://www.logos.com/products/details/5170.

Daniel,
It's part of a larger collection, the newer books need to be built. Think of it as a second chance +a little more for those who missed it the first time.

Hi Thomas,
I had received Pre-Pub order of Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture Upgrade (19 Vols.) . It is downloadable for Logos 4 but not Logos 3. Why?

Dan, you are posting to a forum that pretty much closed down almost a year ago, so few people will see your question. Perhaps you should try posting to the regular forums (I'd suggest the General forum for a question like this).
I haven't heard anyhting about this upgrade so can't give you an answer, I'm sorry.

Hi Mark,
If you had Ancient Christian Commentary on Scripture, you will receive e-mail up-grade notice. This notice did not post on new pre-pub products.

I don't have the former so won't receive the latter.
IVP indicates that the commentary is in Libronix format (http://www.ivpress.com/cgi-ivpress/book.pl/code=2477) This should mean that eventually Logos will have Logos 3 compatible files on their ftp server which you'd be able to download.
