I would like to stop Proclaim from syncing every little thing I do

Hello!

Is there a way to stop proclaim from syncing every little thing I do? When I go to add a song, every single letter I type it is updating, and takes anywhere from 5-15 seconds per character, making it rather difficult and upsetting to do something so simple. I have found no settings to stop the sync, and would like some help. I know it's petty, but updating songs shouldn't take an hour to do.

I don't know of any setting to adjust the sync internal but I have just tried doing this - typing some song lyrics - and get virtually instantaneous response, and there is no evidence of syncing going on while I am doing so.

Having left Proclaim while typing this, sync has happened in the background.

But it does seem others are having similar problems - see http://community.logos.com/forums/t/74507.aspx for a recent discussion on this.

What version of Proclam are you using and on what OS?

Hopefully Logos will be able to comment on this - I expect they will need to see logs after a typing session. These should be in the "Proclaim Log Files" folder

Turning sync off is not supported. I don't expect sync is the actual culprit here. What OS version are you using?

Syncing is when Proclaim updates the changes to the server, but it sounds to me like you're talking about when you try to edit a slide it freezes while the edit preview and horizontal slide listing updates, correct?
