Peace to Nick! ... and to all, of course! *smile* This is a whole new "area" for me ...
Wikipedia has some interesting words ......... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Excidio_et_Conquestu_Britanniae
I'm trying to decide if it would be helpful to my understanding of British Christianity to study this document ... Anyone have any good advice, please?
The situation sort of seems similar to me of what Ireland was like when God sent St. Patrick there ....... well, no, that's a whole different scene also ... ... hoping to have someone help me "cut through my self-imposed fog" ......
*smile*

Milford, have to admit that I added this because I too hope to learn a bit more about this period (early English Christianity, that is) and didn't really know where to start. Hope this is helpful!

For example, when did the Roman army (and navy?) leave? Did some of the soldiers have Christian Faith in their hearts? So fantastically many things to study and to consider .... Thanks for your efforts ................ AND! .. for your "sharing"!
