What is "Noet Philosophy Presentation Media"?
This has been added to most Noet packages. At one time they showed that I already owned them. Now they do not. And this item does not seem to be available separately. Can anyone explain this?

The presentation media would be slides to use with the resource for teaching purposes.
They used to show the color gray for me as well. Not sure what it means now. I guess we will have to wait for a blog post from Logos for answers.

The Noet Philosophy Presentation Media is a set of quote and timeline slides that can be used in personal study or as teaching aids. The resource is not available separately but only as part of the Ancient Philosophy Bundle, Modern Philosophy Bundle, or Noet Classical Foundations Bundle. As the product pages indicate, this particular resource is currently in production and will ship in early January.

Michael,
Is there going to be an upgrade price for the media for the ancient philosophy bundle, it you already own the books from Plato and Aristotle?
For me is shows a price just under $80. From what I can see I would only be missing the media.

The bundles do not have dynamic pricing and I did not buy any bundle. I actually own everything in all of the bundles. It would seem unfair to make me repurchase all of the resources to get the media. Have you thought this out carefully?

Dynamic pricing will be applied to the Noet bundles after they ship to customers and move off of pre-pub (12/30/13). Please visit the product pages at that time to see what the cost of the resource will be with dynamic pricing applied.

No problem. [:)]

Is this different by package or is it the same, because I have a different price for each bundle and I only need the presentation media?

The Noet Philosophy Presentation Media resource that appears in both Noet philosophy bundles is the same resource. I'm not sure why you're seeing different prices as you indicate. I would suggest you contact the sales department.

I just noticed this myself. I previously owned the constituent parts of both the Ancient and Modern Philosophy bundles. Dynamic pricing kicked in after the Noet launch and I wanted to take advantage of the Media Presentation resources. I assumed that there were separate resources for each bundle as I was given a different price for each ... which I ordered.
Based on Michael's post I've sent an e-mail to my sales rep. I will let you know what I find out.

I would expect the price of each bundle to be different, because the discount level of each bundle will be different. If this resource has a notional value of $80, it would cost $40 as part of a smaller bundle that offered a 50% discount off RRP, but $20 as part of a larger bundle which offered a 75% discount off RRP. That's how dynamic pricing works.
If you want this resource and have everything else, just buy the bundle with the cheapest price.

Oh. That's a really good point Mark. Now that I think about it, I ordered them at the same time thinking they were different. So I guess the system would not have known about the other order, it happily processed what I asked. In this case it was two of the same thing as part of two separate titles.
UPDATE: Mark's observation is spot on. The sales rep confirmed that I only need to order one of the two to get the Media Presentation. It's not obvious on the product page, but if you have everything in both bundles (all the individual sets, Plato, Aristotle, Kant, Rationalist, Empiricist), you only need to order one to get the Media Presentation.
