I'm planning on making files like this for all the pre-Socratic philosophers. In Greek with English translations and source information (Not sure how they match up with Diels, I'll have to check). Someday I might go back through and link to Perseus/Loeb resources, but don't hold your breath..

In which we learn, for example, very interesting things such as:

38 Αἱ ψυχαὶ ὀσμῶνται καθ' ᾅδην.

    Souls smell in Hades.

Peace, Greg!                    Thank you indeed for sharing!

I remember very well first studying Heraclitus back in 1955 under the tutorship of The Rev. Doctor Walter Jennrich of Concordia College, Milwaukee!            Fantastic memories; and I thank you for "churning them up"!

I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with the file you shared ....

Do you think Logos will tackle this with Noet?             Perhaps I'll just build a PB???

Anyway, I am grateful, Greg!                Blessings for 2014!

Philippians 4:  4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand..........

Fragments of Heraclitus (English) + Milestones/Tagging translated by John Burnet (1863–1928):

Fragments from Chapter 3 of Early Greek Philosophy by John Burnet, unless otherwise noted. Numbers (in brackets) at the start of a fragment refer to the number given in Bywater, Heracliti Ephesii reliquiae (1877). "R. P." numbers at the end of a fragment refer to H. Ritter et L. Preller, Historia Philosophiae Graecae (1898).
