Course category rationale
Hello everyone,
A few questions:
1.) What is the rationale behind the course numbering system? Of particular note: 100, 200, 300 series. Is there a relationship between levels of difficulty? Maybe another perspective would be a level of previous knowledge of the subject matter.
2.) The lettering system: Some are self-explanatory: OT, NT, TH, others I can surmise: BI = Biblical Interpretation, CO = Counseling. Then there are the mysteries: LT and PD for example.
3.) Curious: Mo’s course LT151. How did that label materialize? Will there be more training courses?

Captian I can't answer your first question with any certainty, but assume the numbering system proposes a level of progress in terms of level of knowledge. Whether that equates to a level of difficulty or 'required' prerequisite knowledge I can't comment on what the official rational of Logos m.Ed team.
On your second question LT would I think be Logos Training and PD stands for Personal/Professional Development. At this stage there appears to be no more courses planned in the LT category and partial answer to your third question. I was hoping to see the Learn to Use Greek/Hebrew with LBS updated and relaunched as LT modules but no indication of this yet.
For list of planned course see https://www.logos.com/mobile-ed/courses and scroll down the page. This will help you with identifying what all the letter abbreviations refer and may give a better sense of the numbering levels till we get an official answer on that point.

Ok I just found some info on the numbering system in a blog post about m.Ed. Hope this answers your question:
Introductory courses (100 level) include content that students would encounter in a Bible college setting. Intermediate courses (200 level) are similar to first-year seminary courses. And advanced courses (300 level) have a concentrated focus, with content comparable to electives offered in seminary. Mobile Ed has also created two courses (090 level) that survey the Old and New Testaments. These courses, designed for people with limited exposure to the Bible, orient the reader to each biblical book, providing guidance as to what it’s about and what the reader can expect to encounter.
