I guess that the failed Moody contract means that we won't be seeing this gem on Logos. I really like Michael Rydelnik. I sure wish Moody and Logos would revisit this.

It is a shame as I was looking forward to obtaining the MacArthur commentaries distributed by Moody. I have the current entire set in book form but would love to add the digitized versions to my Logos Library.
I think Moody, Logos and Logos users are all losers until they get this fixed.
[^o)] Alright, before we get into another long boring discussion about Moody and their "long gone, might never get published in Logos ever again" topic please read this:

Everything from the Moody Bible Commentary to other Moody Titles has been discussed there. [+o(] Let's save ourselves some time and post something that's more relevant. How about the possibility of the Super Bowl getting moved to Saturday if they determine that the weather will be too bad to have it on Sunday? [*-)]

I will keep out of the discussion about Moody - except to say this, my plan is to go home later this evening and use my Christmas money from a Barnes & Noble gift card to purchase this for my Nook. Though with my wife's employee discount, it might pay to get a paper copy for about the same price. I'll have to think about this.

Here is something new:
I ran across a recent post by Dale Pritchett in the mEd forum that hinted at a continuing relationship with Moody. I think he was referring to Logos and not Vyrso.
I believe that everyone has the right to express what is currently on their mind ( I.e. Moody or MacArthur commentaries). If you don't what to read or discuss this subject, then it's probably best to not open this thread. They have legitimate concerns regarding software that they want. Whether or not the super bowl is moved to Saturday or not does nothing to help them.
Decided on paper - my wife will be ordering it next week, for delivery 2/1/2014.
If Murphy's Law is truly operational, Logos will then announce agreement with Moody [^o)]
Well I'm sure glad you believe that but nobody is taking the right to express yourself from you, is just that if you want to post on the subject feel free to do so:

I'm not an MVP (and don't want to be one), but MVP's on many occasions have asked those who have started threads on subjects that have already been discussed to not start a new thread, but to post on the ones that already exist on the subject. Moody and MacArthur commentaries published by Moody and the so called legitimate concerns have already been discussed extensively (one of the threads is 19 pages long and is full of concerns and things of that sort), so there's no need for another thread on how Logos parting ways (indefinitely) with Moody affects everybody and how you wish this or that would happen. Moody is gone for now, so let's get over it (I know I'm over it), you should be too. The only thing you can do is cross your fingers and hope someday Moody will come back as hinted in the thread Super Tramp posted earlier...which by the way, if you want to comment on the possibility of them coming back, post on that thread, don't start a new one...LOL
Blessings!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Moody Bible Commentary is a NEW resource that is about to be published and the OP is completely within the forum guidelines to request that Logos make efforts to obtain the rights to add this new resource to the Logos Library.
MVPs have mentioned (on several occasions) "while your situation may seem similar to an existing one, the best way to get new attention to a new issue is to create a new thread."
There are at least 2 parties involved in the decision to include a resource in Logos. If authors and users express their desires to both the software company and the copyright holder, perhaps one/both of the parties will reconsider their position and move the issue forward.

Yes, you're wrong...LOL...just kidding! Here's the issue, 1) it involves a new resource from a Publishing Co. that STOPPED doing business with Logos so why would Logos try to get into talks to see if they can get this new resource only and not get back ALL of the resources they lost? and 2) It's been discussed before (someone has already suggested they want to see this resource in Logos) see this link ~~> http://community.logos.com/forums/p/80108/560524.aspx#560524
So, in essence, it's totally pointless to be dragging a subject that will not get resolved until Logos and Moody get their situation squared away. As users we don't have much say in the issue as several of us already tried emailing Moody to get them to reconsider their position and nothing happened. So there you have it! Nothing will happen unless the 2 companies come to terms in whatever their disagreement is.
Now, unless you want to cram the issue over and over in the forums, feel free to do so, but it won't be long when all you read in the forums will be "The Moody Boring Talk" and then everybody will get annoyed.

By the way, I guess you didn't read the sarcasm in my post...just saying. [:P] Personally, if the super bowl gets cancelled all together, I really don't care. I'm not a football fan anyway. [;)]
