I am really enjoying the lectures that I am reading.

in the resource section for further reading, in a few places I see a lock symbol.  Normally this would mean you don't owe the resource.  In my case, I do owe the resource and the lock symbol still appears.

how does one of about getting rid of the lock symbol?

Assuming that you are reading these lectures in Logos, there are a couple of things to check: 1) If while reading the lectures, you open your library, do the resources appear? 2) Do they have the exact same title and author (it's easy to mistake this)?

If this checks out, please provide the name of the lectures you're reading and the exact place in the lecture where you're getting the false negative, so others can check on this as well.

In  TH102, segment 35 the article on Arianism, from HCC, History of the Christian Church has a lock symbol.    I have that resource by Schaff.

InnTH103, segment 47, the article on Assurance of Salvation from DCA, dictionary of Christianity in America  has a lock symbol.   I have this resource as well.

This could mean the TH* resources are faulty (most likely), or point to a different resource, or different version of the resource. It might be a good idea to report this to Logos directly. The most likely place to get action on this is to contact the education department through which you're taking this course (I'll assume you have that contact info, but I'm not enrolled so I can't be sure).

I would be curious to know what would happen if you closed the lectures from your desktop, closed and restarted Logos (let any indexing finish, if necessary before proceeding), opened the allegedly locked resources (HCC and DCA) to your desktop (in any tab), and then opened one of the lectures and click on one of the offending links. Does it still show locked?

Kenneth, are you still having this problem? Just to clarify, do the links by the lock symbol still work for the resources you own or does it tell you that you don't own those resources?
