RETAGGING

Please help!  For some reason, one of my books "Seventh day Adventist Bible Dictionary" is tagged as an encyclopedia.  Despite having moved it to the top of my resource list, anytime I ran a topical search, it is never added to my list of dictionaries.  What do I need to do to retag it as a dictionary, or at least have it prioritized so that it is used when I run a search?  Thanks for any help that you can give.

    Hi Samuel

This isn't the issue - most Bible Dictionaries are tagged as encyclopedia in Logos.

But the Topic Guide returns entries to the "Topic" section based on the Logos Controlled Vocabulary (LCV) and only resources which are LCV-tagged are reported there. So for this dictionary to appear in that section, Logos would need to add LCV tagging to it. They are continually working on this but it depends where this particular resource is in the queue.

In the meanwhile, you can create a collection of "type:encyclopedia" and add a section to the guide including this collection and you should get the results you are looking for there.

(I picked this up from a post by Dave Hooton at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/76716/537000.aspx#537000

If you don't know how to create collections (https://wiki.logos.com/Collections) or modify the guide please post back
