I had a crash on L4 when I did "Import All" and then I did some further investigation.
"Import Notes" worked.
"Import Highlighting" failed. Investigation into the log file showed that the last markup file that was processed failed, so I went into the folder and removed this markup file. A subsequent attempt to import highlighting was successful.
"Import Favorites" also worked.
In order to help avoid problematic files in the future I have attached a zip file with three files: (1) Log file from import failure, (2) the .lbxdat file causing the problem and (3) a log file from the successful import. Please let me know if I can do more to troubleshoot the import of this file.

Thanks for the thorough submission. The fix for this bug should be released with Beta 2, later today.
Thanks
Scott

Once Beta 2 comes out can I place the .lbxdat problematic file back in its original location and re-import to get the contents of this file? If so, should I delete the rest of the files since they have already been imported or is it fine to just re-import everything?

Yes, restore the file and run the command again.

I would still like to see the Logos Logo on the blue ribbon turned into an active link for the Logos homepage. It seems a most intuitive use of that logo and would be very useful. I've suggested it before but I don't think anybody has heard. What do others think?
Good suggestion. Start a new thread for it in the Suggestions forum and it's more likely to be seen when they're looking for ideas people have suggested. In the meantime, did you know you could get to the Logos website (your Account page on it) by clicking on your login email address from your Home Page? Still, your suggestion is great and worth bringing to the attention of the feature designers.

Ah-ha. Actually, it's the "Locator bar," but I got it from your screen shot. I usually have that closed. Pretty handy feature, though. I might want to have it open more often now.
Thanks for the official name of this. I’ve added it to my list for the glossary on the wiki. I haven’t had time to get back to working on that.

I guess it thought you wanted a limited search… [;)]

I hate to be a wet blanket but on the feature now that allows you to choose "by verse"?
When you up/down arrow, it will still "skip a verse" sometimes...very annoying. (I was arrowing through John 3:
John 3:27, push arrow, 3:28, push arrow, 3:29, push arrow, 3:31....whoops? What happened to John 3:30???
Otherwise...woo hoo...things are heading in the right direction!
EDITED TO ADD: the verse skipping happens when a verse is completely contained on one line ALONG WITH the last bit of the previous verse....John 3:30, John 3:32 etc
I wasn't able to reproduce the skipping behavior. Could you clarify which Bible you are using and describe what your layout looks like (or provide a screenshot)?

I couldn't reproduce it either.
Wow, Lawrence breaks forth onto the Forum as a support specialist at heart in his first post. Welcome to the Forum! Looking forward to have you around here.[:)]

Well, there should be a Logos logo next to my name. I'll have to get my forum account set up properly.

Laptop Beta install and subsequent index fine, no crashes. I'll start importing Notes, Highlighting this afternoon.
Thanks much for the new drop, 'tis greatly appreciated!
