Will this work with an Amazon.ca account (i.e. Canadian Amazon account)? If so, can I link both my .com and .ca addresses with my Logos account?
The answer to your first question is "yes". The answer to your second depends on whether you have the same email address registered at both stores. If so, Amazon treats the two accounts as if they were one account, and you'll have no problems. If not, you'll have to choose which account you'll want to link to Logos.

Any plans to make books on Logos accessible to Kobo e-reader devices?

probably not. First, kobo is very small market in the US. Second, the "send to kindle" depends upon a feature by kindle. Does kobo have the same?

I am able to send selected books to my Kindle Account fine. They all show as Documents on my various devices as expected. However, when looking in the Documents folder on my IPod or iPad it displays the expected book cover but not so on my Android devices. I never see the book cover, instead I get only a generic document cover. Other than that it works fine for all potable devices. Any ideas?

Probably a limitation or bug on the Android App...
Question though: Why are you using send to kindle to send books to the kindle app on Android? Why not use one of the many FL apps?

It's a known (and very annoying) issue with Kindle. In fact the only place it works correctly is the iOS app. It shows a generic cover on 'proper' Kindles, too.

Thanks Mark. It's a relief to know its not due to Operator Ear Space. I do enough of that.

I use Send-to-Kindle only from my Desktop, I sometimes read them on my iPad, Galaxy Note 4, etc. when I'm not at home.

Alabama was wondering why you don't use one of the Faithlife apps on those mobile devices as opposed to the Send-to-Kindle route.
With one of the Faithlife apps they would be much more integrated with your desktop - synchronising notes / highlights / position in the book etc

First, welcome! [:)]
You have two choices. The first, and perhaps easiest, is to actually change the kindle email address on the device itself. If your email address was old_device@kindle.com, release the address from that device (through your account settings on Amazon.com) and change the address on your new device to match the old one.
The only other option is to call FL customer service during business hours and to give them the address of the new device.
Users aren't allowed to change the "send to" address as a protection against fraud.

Well, I assume I'm doing something wrong. I have a kindle.com address registered in Logos and I have noreply@logos.com registered in my Amazon account. When I click on Send to Kindle on a resource, it plays an animation and seems to send it to Amazon. However, I never see any documents available for the Kindle for PC app on my computer. Is there a place on Amazon.com where I can see that the resource actually made it that far? Any other thoughts on what could be going wrong will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Have you verified that the kindle.com address you registered in Logos is the email address for the device you are trying to "send" to?

The document won't be in the Kindle for PC app unless that is the device you used with the associated email... And if your goal IS to send the document to the kindle app on your PC, why would you want that?

- From Amazon account page, click "manage your content and devices"
- click the "content" tab (if it isn't already selected)
- change "show books" to "show docs"
ANY "documents" you have (which includes Logos books you have "sent to kindle") <should> appear.

Don,
It looks like Amazon's "Send to Kindle" service (which Logo's "Send to Kindle" function uses) only works for iOS and Android apps and any Kindle device, but does not include Kindle for PC or Kindle for Mac (https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_pdoc_main_short_us?nodeId=200767340)
To get the books into the Kindle for PC program, you would have to download the files from your Send to Kindle folder in your Amazon Cloud Storage and manually add them. Also, if you are using the Kindle app from the Windows Store, you cannot add any personal files to that version (Amazon currently has this app locked down to Amazon purchases only [unless Amazon has finally added the feature in the past month]).

I am just wondering if you highlight and turn pages after you send to Kindle device, does it update on Logos?

No - once it is in the Kindle environment it is totally disconnected from the Logos context.

And for one more bit of clarification: the "send to kindle" feature is designed for sending books to the eBook reader line of "kindles" (i.e. paper white). The kindle FIRE tablets are capable of running the android version of the mobile app and can do highlighting synced with Logos.

Hi! Apparently, this issue is what Eric Ruhnow mentions--the Kindle for PC app isn't supported. I just read some info on Amazon's site, and Kindle for PC isn't listed as a supported app/platform.
As for why I want to do this, I have a Lenovo tablet that has only 32GB of space (less than that when you take into consideration the size of the OS). My Logos collection doesn't fit on the tablet nor does it successfully index there. I actually only want to read some of my Logos books on the tablet, so I thought it would work just to send those few resources to Kindle and then read them in the Kindle for PC app.
I know there are ways that I can get Logos and a subset of my resources onto the tablet, but they are quite a bit of work. When I've tried them, they didn't work that well for me. I know that others have had a better experience.
Thanks!

You have a couple of options:
- Use one of the web options (i.e. www.biblia.com or app.logos.com)
- Buy a tablet (or better, kindle!)
As for the later: Amazon has seriously discounted some Kindle Fire tablets. The new base model is $50... but they sold it at black friday for $35. You could put a price watch on it via camelcamelcamel to see if it drops again. Personally, I think the best READING experience is to be had on an eInk device (i.e. the "normal" kindles). I LOVE my paperwhite.
The "send to kindle" feature is only needed if you get one of the eInk devices. You can run the mobile apps on the Kindle Fires.

When I type set kindle account to ####@kindle.com in command box, it is going to search for it...
It is impossible for me to establish the task.
I have set everything correct in Amazon account.
Followed all the instructions but still does not work.
Can somebody give me some advise?
Thanks.

The command is “set kindle to #####@kindle.com”
So no "account"

Some additional info: I am using Logos 6 and am on a Mac (El Capitan)
I have read all the comments how to do it...
So, to clarify my problem...In Logos 6 it seems that when I type set account to....@kindle.com or in command box Logos 6, it is going to search for it.
I also followed the instructions given by instruction-film and still did not get any positive result.
Thanks again for the help.
I also typed in: set kindle to...@kindle.com as suggested by various helpful persons on this forum.
It is still going to search for it...

Thanks Graham for your quick response.
I have done that several times already. Still going to search for it!

Have you previously used the command? Are you sure you typed it in right the first time? This is a "one time deal." If you make a mistake, you must give customer service a call.
To check and see if you have a kindle email address associated with your account, view the bottom of a resource's info panel (see screen shot). If you have an email listed, you will get the behavior you describe. NOTE: You may need to verify that the resource you check is "send to kindle enabled."

OK, but do you see a "send to kindle" within any books info panel? If so, is it the right address?

alabama 24:
No, I do not see the address.
Let me tell you what I think what happened...
I also have a windows laptop with Vista on it. It does not support Logos 6. Only Logos 5
I typed in the correct command.....set kindle to......@kindle.com
It did not work out. I assumed because of the older version of Logos.
Then I tried to do the same thing on the Mac.
It did not work out either.
So here we are...!
