I know that you think the resource is mobile enabled, but it would be helpful for me to verify that it is so. Specifically, which resource is it?

There isnt a method to log out since the app is designed for "one user." If someone needed to log out, they would need to delete the app and redownload it. I don't have my iPad in front of me currently, but on the homepage there should be a "settings" button (gear wheel icon). You should be able to find out which email address you are logged in with.

If the library search box is NOT empty, than the library IS being filtered. Delete everything from the search box.

If none of the above works, try typing "rebuild index" in the box on the home page. After typing this and pressing enter, wait a couple of minutes.
