Proclaim is slowing down...
Friends,
It seems that I'm getting beachballs and delays and media that takes forever to load in the media browser...is there a caching issue? Memory leak? Additionally, when typing in a search box, it takes a bit for the program to catch up. Any help? Optimizations? Updates?
Running 10.14 Mojave on an 3.4 gHz i5 iMac w/ 32GB of RAM.

I just realized that I also experience this in the "Reuse Item" dialog box.

Is the slowness present directly after a restart or only after Proclaim has been running for a while?
Please use Help > Save Log Files to save some logs and attach them to this thread. We'll take a look and see if anything stands out.

If that doesn't reveal anything we may ask for you to sample the Proclaim process using Activity Monitor while reproducing the issue and attach those logs as well.

Tczinder, we just fixed a memory issue that cropped up recently on Mac. It's likely that it would negatively affect other parts of the app as you are using it, so it might be what you were witnessing.
The new update is out now, 2.9.0.0109.
Try it out and let us know how it goes!
