Mobile Ed Course for Verbum Base Packages?

I see that Logos base package purchasers are getting a promotional code that can be used to get a free Mobile Ed course.  Is that also true for those of us who may purchase a Verbum base package?

    I believe so.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Unless the Verbum Silver and higher product pages are wrong, I don't happen to see a "Mobile Ed Course (You Choose)" item in the list of resources.

Perhaps someone who initially bought Verbum Silver or higher can confirm whether or not their "Thank you for your order..." email contained redemption instructions for a Mobile Ed course.

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Unfortunately, I did not purchase Verbum alone so I was misled. The Catholic Page on Logos shows 4 Catholic courses rather than a course of your choice.

Sorry all, no MobileEd course for the Verbum base package purchasers.  There is practically no Catholic content in MobileEd (save for a Scott Hahn bit on Justification), so it didn't make sense to offer this as an incentive to Verbum users.

Hopefully next time around with Verbum 9....

Craig, Do you know if Orthodox base packages qualify for the Mobile Ed incentive?

EDIT:  Disregard.  I answered my own question.  Yes, Mobile Ed is there (You choose - $300)

Verbum users might still be interested in having a Mobile Ed course even if it's not done by a Catholic. You have courses on the Second Temple period and the Apocrypha (two of my favs). Those aren't protestant specific. At least I don't think the Second Temple on is by Joel Willitts. You have the Four Views on xxx type courses, a Catholic might be interested in having another perspective. I don't think they should miss out on the opportunity to have a free mobile ed course just because they purchased Verbum instead of Logos.

FYI, "$300" is likely an average estimated value for a course (only used to calculate the total value of package items if sold separately), not a price ceiling on what courses you can choose.

Many of the courses you can choose from cost well over $300.

Thank for the feedback Kiyah.  I'll keep MobileEd in mind for future promotions with Verbum.

One other point to clarify too is that the MobileEd course isn't really "free."  Verbum base packages have more of other resources in lieu of not having the MobileEd course.  That $300 in MobileEd value that Logos users got translates into $300 more in books and other resources in Verbum, which is significant considering how the pricing of resources works in base packages.

    Hi Craig,

Sorry to mither you, and for being awkward … do you know if the $50 Mobile Ed course Logos 8 owners are enjoying is being offered to Verbum 8 (Silver and above) owners? I can't seem to get the coupon to work ...

I appreciate your reply to Kiyah above, however does that same reasoning hold with what sees to be an independent promotion?

    Thank you

    Andrew,

Right now that $50 promotion is only for Logos Base Packages.
