Verbum 8 App on iOS

Hi,

Working my way through Verbum 8 - should be a nice update.

When I start the iOS App for Verbum, it starts up and then goes away. It is running in the background, but when I try to make it the active App. it just goes to the background again. So basically it is unusable. Same issues on the iPhone 8 and the iPad mini.

Anyone else having these problems?

I expect this is the same issue being discussed at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/173786.aspx - and Faithlife have submitted a fix to Apple so hopefully an update should be available soon.

From one of our developers last night: "The fixed iOS Verbum app has been submitted and we’ve requested an expedited review from Apple. Hopefully it will release sometime this evening (although I can’t make a prediction)."

An update:

Apple has taken longer than usual to approve our fix, so this issue remains for Verbum users. Until Apple ships the fix, you can access your content on app.verbum.com or by downloading and signing in to the Logos Bible Software app.

I will update this thread when Apple approves the fix. Apologies again for the delay!

Apple must be excessively pedantic this time. the Logos app works, so I’ll use it for now, loading only what I immediately need.

Apple has approved the update, and the new version will start to propagate the app store over the next few hours.

I have successfully updated my iPhone and iPad with the new update. Things look to be working well. Let us know if you experience any further issues or have any questions.

On my iphone 7+, ios 12.1 it still won't open. I went through a reset, but still doesn't open. The Logos beta version that I am using works.

The latest one, a few moments a ghost o works on iPhone.
