WF Editor Suggestion: Pass Key to Link
For other WF Editor suggestions see this thread.
Please allow us to use the key as a parameter in a link we're embedding. Perhaps the simplest implementation would requiring a manual edit of the link. Something like: https://ref.ly/logosres/bscbblntrprttn?ref=Page.p+101&off=606
could be edited to: https://ref.ly/logosres/bscbblntrprttn?ref={key}
The workflow could then swap out "{key}" with the value in the key field.
There would, of course, be more user-friendly ways to do this, but the ability is critical enough that I'd rather have this approach than none at all!

I think the user-friendly approach would be to add "WF" to the "Copy location as" menu item in the resource menu. If this were done, I'd suggest putting all these options into a drop-down selector rather than making the resource menu even wider.
This would take a bit if UI work but not a huge amount, so it might be preferable to go to this right away.

It's interesting you should post this today, as I just came to the forums looking for this exact feature. I'm loving this new Workflow Editor feature. I am really wanting to be able to pass the key (selected reference, etc.) to a URL linked resource. This would be AMAZING! Thanks for your thorough suggestions! I hope Logos takes notice!

This is absolutely critical in my opinion.
But perhaps a better option is that when resources (or Guides) are opened from the Workflow, they should simply open to the reference of the workflow — a bit like a Bible will always open to the place you're already studying.

I raised a similar question during the beta. Phil indicated they would look at options for this. He suggested several possibilities, but nothing definitive regarding timeline.
