Dataset Updates: Monday, November 12, 2018
The following updates are scheduled to be released Monday, November 12, 2018:
- Jesus' Fulfillment of OT Prophecy — added a "Target" attribute and added annotation to the referenced OT prophecies so the OT portion of the fulfilled prophecy will also be located in generic label searches (e.g. use of the Logos 8 Concordance Guide section)
- Systematic Theology Cross-References (Spanish): Added the Spanish translation of Berhkof's Systematic Theology.
- Biblical Referents, People, Places, and Things: Various updates and corrections.
- Lexham Systematic Theology Ontology: This is the dataset behind the Theology Guide. New data for various localized languages.
If for some reason we are not able to deliver these updates today (Monday, November 12, 2018) I will update this thread.

Where do Datasets updated show? In Logos 7 they showed on the Home Page drop-down that is supposedly coming back. I don't believe they show in any facet of the Logos 8 library pane, as datasets don't show up in the library. So, how do we know when we have them?

Unless I missed something in reading that, which I had before, I don't think that addresses DATASETS does it?

Since the title as the thread as about software updates and new additions to libraries I was assuming that datasets were included in that, but I may be wrong.

Still waiting for BUG? Missing parable
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Open up "About Logos Bible Software" and the left side of the screen shows the data set information (this is a scrollable area). Not ideal, I know, but it's all we have right now.

Thanks for the suggestion, I thought of that. But when the email notices like tat the top of this thread come out, they don't have version numbers. In the past I have noticed that the datasets do not have today's date of course, they have a timestamp in the past whenever they were last modified before approval. So right now for example there is no way for me to know if I have the dataset versions that came out today, or an older one.
This is a huge issue IMHO. While the other library resources are an annoyance because you have to use a facet to find out what's new in another way, there is no way to discover this for datasets. Very bad. Will FL see this and correct it, or do I need to post a bug post on the forums? Most of the bugs I have posted recently never get an acknowledgment, is there another way to make sure this is known?

Bradley's comment applies to datasets as well as normal resource files: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/175025/1011674.aspx#1011674
