I just want to make sure people know what they're getting when they get Verbum Fundamentals and don't assume that they'll have the same program capabilities as Logos Fundamentals. Hopefully Faithlife will make the two more equal in terms of datasets at some point. I think a package marketed as "Fundamentals" should at least have Biblical Places/Place Maps/Things/Events/Referents, Biblical Event Navigator, and Multiview Resources. That's a lot of functionality in Logos that Verbum is just leaving on the table, as is providing a Verbum Fundamentals user with a drastically different user experience (not just a customized Catholic experience) than a Logos Fundamentals user. Sure, there are some Catholic-specific resources and tools in Verbum Fundamentals that Logos Fundamentals doesn't have, but I still don't think the two packages balance out in terms of functionality, particularly when in comes to searching.
