Let me clarify- move bookmarks to top of favorites and have it default open collapsed.

I'm with you- every time I open Favorites- all my folders default open as fully expanded- I'd love to not have to manually collapse them every time I go into them.

IIRC, not remembering the expansion state is a regression/bug which KS4J has also raised.

Thread => 7.17 Beta 3 Regression - Favorites that continues on for macOS. Replicated Favorites opening all folders using Logs 8.2 Beta 1 on macOS 10.13.6

Yes the "top" portion of mine when opened is collapsed- but "bookmarks" is never collapsed-, thus the reason I would like to see it first moved to the top of favorites, second make sure the default for Favorites is open "collapsed."
Bookmarks in it's present state waste space and is not serving any purpose hidden at bottom of page. My pic in first post shows how "favorites" should be implemented.
