Sometimes the King James Version 1900 is missing for bible verses, why is this happening?
Where are you looking when you expect to find it? If you search for "KJV 1900" in the Bible picker do you see the following?
If you do a passage guide search or study for 1 John 5:7 you do not get the Textus receptus reading. They force feed an unacceptable version on us. We should have the choice of which Manuscripts we want our results from.

I am not sure what your comment actually means but I do wonder if you are posting in the right forum?
I am unable to do either a 'Passage Guide' or a 'Study' from the Proclaim Panel.

I suspect all of us have favorite translations we are unable to access through Logos. But we are still offered a wide variety, not force fed any particular one.
My Question is: can we alter the search field, manuscript database, when performing a Passage Guide Search?
It is troubling that the search results do not include the more reliable Correct Text manuscripts for some of the search results, although it does for others.
For instance, if you do a Passage Search for 1 John 5:7 and look for the most 'Important Words' - You won't find the Fuller Reading of the KJV in some of the search results: The "Important Words" are missing as well as there are no Parallel Passages. However, the Word by Word area does reflect the 1550 TR Manuscript, and the Lemma in passages do include the 1550 TR, so that is a huge relief.
The same thing happens with many other Passages like Matt. 17:21. No Important words, but the other fields show 1550 TR results. I am grateful for that.
Also, how can I change the ESV Bible to the KJV Bible for the Concordance results
It would appear that the search field does INCLUDE the Correct Text as part of the DATA Source, but only for selective results.
I am still learning. God, bless you.
This would be better posted in the Logos 8 forum not the Proclaim one.
Please start a new thread there and we'll look into this with you.
I did not realize where this post was. So, yes, I will take it there. Thanks for letting me know. Peace to you always, my friend.
