"In the Likeness of God" disappeared

Yesterday it was still on my wish list, now it is gone.

I still wanted to buy (not at full price though) and eventually read it. Why would a publisher pull a book with such excellent reviews, and quite a good sales rank on Amazon (#67 in Anthropology). Speaking of Kindle, it's also no longer available as a Kindle edition. I've not checked any other vendors though.

I see it was originally released in August of 2004. Maybe they are pulling it in preparation for a 15th anniversary edition.

Yeah, they asked us to pull it so we did. Of course, since they send the info through their ONIX feed, we don't get any explanation. Preparing for a new edition would make sense.
