Sermon Editor
I am attempting to edit a slide in Sermon Editor. When I click on the slide and select "edit" I am taken to a grid of various slides, however none of them will populate my presentation. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong. It has been working for me for my Sunday sermon and last week's Bible study, but today I seem to be dead in the water. Any help would be appreciated.

It's working fine for me on Windows.
Which version of Logos are you running?
And I wonder if it is something to do with the Mac OS beta you are running?

Yes, Graham, I too thought it might be the mac beta version, yet I have not had an upgrade for over a week and slides were working correctMy. I’m using Logos 8.2.0.0015

This is happening to me also. If I click edit on the slide there is nothing in the left hand panel after the media section opens.

I am having the same problem as Rodney. I open the editor, but there is nothing in the left editor pane.

Yes, that is what is happening. I tried it on the Web Browser app and had minimal success. Some of the slides I was using last week are not to be found.

I alerted FL to this thread. Hopefully someone in the know will weigh in. Perhaps they are doing some sort of server maintenance

Same problem here. In addition to the blank left sidebar, it appears Logos isn't picking up my sermon as a sermon. In other words, it is serving me up all sorts of slides in Find Media rather than just title slides.

Thanks for working on it Adam - but the app version is still only working kinda-sorta. There are templates I've been using for more than a month which are unfindable. Lots of new artwork which is awesome, but almost no functionality in searching them. And all the new categories on the left pane are without clear explanation. No doubt y'all attempted some upgrading here, but it really went off the rails this time. :-)

Hey Adam,
I just tried the web app and it is doing the same thing the version on my computer is doing. For instance, with nothing selected it says I have like 8,000 resources. On the left panel, I can filter to "header subheader" slides and there are apparently "28" of them but when I click that filter I get a return of 0 which is what my downloaded version on my computer is doing too.

Really appreciate the help. I began using Sermon Editor (again) a few weeks ago because It appeared to work better than when I first tried it a couple years ago. Now I am sort of committed with a sermon series I have started. The web app isn't working properly either, and as another post mentioned, some of the slides are missing (the ones I have been using for my series!). And the selection is kind of a jumbled mess. I'm praying you guys can get this fixed by tomorrow at the latest. Sunday's a comin'!

Hi Everyone. The media tool in Sermon Editor is back up and running as expected for me this morning. I did switch to the Beta channel yesterday to see if that made any difference (it didn't) but the media tool was working as usual before the latest beta downloaded. So I expect it should be back up and running for everyone today.
Thanks Adam and the FL team for all you've done to solve this bug.

Did you guys ever looked into the possibility of adding the ability to add pictures that zoom in and out. Nothing official was said as to whether it would be made available or not. It’s been a year or so.
Meanwhile, I use Accordance to present my outline with expandable pictures for classes and sermons; then I transfer a copy of the outline to Logos just so it’ll populate in searches.
