For me it seems to be resource-dependent.

Changing the scaling does change how the ESV is displayed but not the NIV2011 - this is on Windows 10

    Agree! Resources are unaffected.

If you manually change the panel scaling of a resource from the panel menu, then changes to the global content scaling will not affect that resource. In order to reset this, you need to go the resource's panel menu and change the scaling back to default (or if it's already default, move it off default, then back to default again). Then global scaling changes will affect the resource.

    Thanks Andrew

Makes sense and i think - although haven’t checked - that explains what I am seeing

Yeah, I dont think this is it. I was experimwnting with the set text command right before (literally, minutes before) I updated to 8.3, and all my text was scaling. I closed logos, opened it again and it updated to 8.3. I did the exact same stuff and nothing scaled.

I can't recreate this problem. If you try my suggestion on one of your resources, does it allow that resource to start responding properly to the command?

So I just came back from the store, booted up my laptop again, started logos, and typed in the set text to 110% scaling.... and everything worked. No idea why it worked now, and didn't before. I didn't change anything. Glad it seems to be fixed though.

And.... it's not working again. Something is systemically wrong. I closed the program, restarted, and everything is back to 100% default, and refuses to be changed. Not only this, but the number of columns for tabs on my dashboard is stuck at 3, even though the settings say 4. I change the settings, and it's just stuck.

I haven't been around Logos for too long, but this is one of the buggiest updates I've seen. Really disruptive.

Did you have a chance to try the steps I suggested earlier?

The number of columns is a maximum. It's still going to be limited by the available width of the window.

Okay, I tried your steps, and it seems to be working now. It was very confusing, because sometimes when I would load the program, the global content scaling would work fine - without implementing your steps. And oddly enough, the times that it did work, I knew it would work, because the dashboard cards would display properly (I have it set to four, and it would show four across). But now it's still stuck at 3 cards. I could accept what your saying about that simply being the 'maximum', if not for the fact that I loaded the program at least twice, to see that it showed four columns of cards... but now it will only show three, and I didn't change anything.

    Odd.

Oh, and after I manually adjusted the content scaling of each window like you said, and got global scaling to work, I closed the layout, went back to the dashboard, and tried to load the layout again via my dashboard card (to see if the scaling remained). The whole program froze as I clicked on the dashboard card, and when I rebooted the program, the card had been removed from my dashboard. I added it again, and it seems to be working now... but there is definitely something going on there.

I'm afraid I don't understand. The Content Scaling setting does not affect the home page, so my suggestion has nothing to do with the dashboard cards.

The Program Scaling does affect the home page. The two commands are different.
