Add menu to Passage Guide Does nothing

I opened a passage guide and then clicked on the Add button. I got the drop down and clicked "apparatus" but then nothing at all happened and there was no way to confirm my choice. What now?

Hi Thomas, this is because when you click on an item, it adds it to your guide below. If that item exists already, it doesn't do anything. Is there another way we can clear this up?0

Can the items shown upon click only be those that do not already exist? Of maybe the existing ones could be grayed out?

Yes something of that sort has been filed, it only seems correct to implement it this way.
