McNabb, Vincent, ed. The Decrees of the Vatican Council. New York: Benziger Brothers, 1907. contains Dogmatic Constitution on the Catholic Faith. However, this resource is not indexed based on the Church document, rather it is indexed only by page number. This results in the normal command "Open Dogmatic Constitution on the Catholic Faith" failing to find and open the document. One has to know that it is in a book with a different title and enter "Open The Decrees of the Vatican Council".

This break from the normal behavior of church documents is a pain in the rear, hiding the fact that you own the resource. I propose that this volume be indexed in the standard manner so the behavior is consistent.

For those who are following the problems as presented in the Catholic products forum, I have also reported related problems in the standard product forum:

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

What do you mean by "standard manner"? What church documents function as you expect?

For most church documents I can enter the name of the document and get a choice of applicable resources:

I realize that this is because they are published as separate resources. However, I think it is inappropriate to require the user to remember which documents they own as individual documents and which they own printed in a collection. What I am suggesting is a significant change to the Command Box behavior - that it recognize Milestones as well as Titles for suggesting resources in the drop down. This would allow me to enter either "Open The Decrees of the Vatican Council" if I knew the name of the book in my library or "Open Dogmatic Constitution on the Catholic Faith" if I only knew the name of the document. So many documents are published as separate documents that it is the latter that becomes habitual.
