Narrator in another language, is it possible?
Hi all,
The voice narrator (CTRL + R) as far as I understand uses the narrator from the system. In my case from Windows. Now, I have changed the Windows idiom to Portuguese and selected another voice, one that narrates for Portuguese, but still I get the English voice. Is it because Logos takes the default voice and this is the only option?
I was wondering if with Windows set to another idiom if this would change the behavior in Logos narration feature.

I assume you want it to read from books that are already in Portuguese?
I think, what I wrote three years ago, might still be true: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/133841/870007.aspx#870007
To get to Control Panel, you now need to click on the Windows symbol and type Control Panel until it shows up.

Awesome Bernhard, it worked.
Indeed I had to make changes in the Control Panel to make it work. So, I set a voice for Portuguese and it is reading fairly well the Bibles (text) in Portuguese.
Thanks a lot. Problem solved.www.aprendalogos.com

What would really be nice is if the narrator voice would be automatically chosen from available (prioritized) voices based on the language in the resource metadata. Kindle Fire tablets do this inside the Kindle app.
