Problems opening Verbum

I had to reload Verbum and after reloading when I went to open it I get an error message that says: An upgrade is required. Some of your resources and documents are not compatible with this version. To continue using Verbum, upgrade to version 8.7 SR-2 or later. To install the latest version, visit Https://www.verbum.com/install

I went to the site and download Verbum 8 again and got a message that I was up to date. SO I turn Verbum off and even shot down my computer in the hopes that might solve the problem but to no avail. So I have the latest update but the error message says I need the latest version. So I am at a loss.

8 I had to reinstall because I lost my windows app and still have not been able to get them back. This is the second time I had to do it but the frist time Verbum load fine. That was about a week ago while the second time I had to reload was today and I did it twice to see if the first attempt was the problem.

I don't see anything in the release notes that would generate the message if you were already running a version of Logos 8. I wonder if the problem is actually in not having the right Windows' tool for Verbum to run - I'm thinking .NET Can you get logs and post them so we can see where the problem arises? https://wiki.logos.com/Windows_Troubleshooting

I thank you for your try to help me but the Verbum that was pinned to my task bar I unpinned it and then went to the Windows start and noticed recent app verbum at the top so I decided to click on that and to my surprise it opened. I don't know what the Verbum on my taskbar would not open but I did get the app to finally work. I don't know for how long and it was just pure luck that I found it and got it to work. Thanks again for taking your time to try and help me. GOD bless
