Proclaim 16:10 Aspect Ratio

Hi everyone!
We have been using Proclaim for a few years now and love working with it and the team who continues to advance its development. We would love to stay with Prolcaim!
We are getting ready to purchase a projector, and most of the models we are considering project at a 16:10 aspect ratio (1920 x 1200). I see no option in Proclaim for natively matching this. While I understand we could just ignore this problem and have a slight letterbox, that is not desireable for our situation...and we are considering changing to ProPresenter if we select a 16:10 projector.
Are there any plans to add 16:10 capabilty to Proclaim?
Thank you,
Mark

I am writing because we were surprised when we went about sourcing a projector and screen for our sanctuary.
We found an array of four connected VDU panels in the centre of the church (synced to make one display) and two other monitors at each side together with the associated sound system worked out less expensive than the rather large projector we would have otherwise purchased.
It wasn't an option we have even thought of but it might pay you to ask the question.

Thanks Mike! We actually had a multi-panel setup in for a test drive and our space is too small...meaning the folks are too close to the panels and thus can see the pixels a little too much. So we are settling in on projection...but today we found the Optoma EH615T which is 16:9 so we might go with that one...and then revisit this again in a few years when we can afford a higher resolution VDU setup! :-)

While the 16x9 option sounds good, we are looking into supporting other aspect ratios right now. I can't commit to a timeline but it is something we are actively looking at. We would love for you to continue using Proclaim!

This is super early in dev but I wanted to show a 16:10 slide I hacked in!
This is my MacBook Pro with the first ever Proclaim presentation running in 16:10 aspect ratio. All the slides changed to 16:10 and I was able to use the built in background alignment options to make this 16:9 background fill the space!
Just a super early sneak peak for the forum users

We just spent $17,000 on 2 new projectors that ran 16:9 natively, however when we push Proclaim into the new projectors, we end up with thick top and bottom. I called our projector supplier and talked through the issue. He mentioned that the computer is pushing out a 16:9 picture, with Proclaim doing the same, but that Proclaim doesn't have a way to actually set the pixel size (1920 x 1080, like Propresenter or Easyworship does, but rather just a 16:9) with the resulting projected picture having a thick black bar top and bottom. The suggested work around from Hitachi/Maxell is to run the projector in 16:10 and Proclaim in 16:9, but that isn't a good idea as it is a distorted screen. The other option is to change the computer output to 1280 x 768 (or 1280 x 800), and see what Proclaim looks like.
Since we are in the age of "Social Distancing", I am not in the building right now to try the different suggestions. I was wondering if anyone else has run into this issue?

Hi Jordan, I was wondering if there was any update on this? Being able to run in 16x10 is a bit of a deal breaker for us. Thanks!

Hi, this is in the works! We recently changed our settings in Proclaim around, to pave the way for more granular control of aspect ratio! I don't have a firm date for you at the moment
