Serious lag/hanging render recent betas unusable

I have a 10.5 iPad Pro 256Gb, only 1/4 filled, running the most recent iOS update. On the betas in the last several week, I've had so many problems Logos has been unusable, even after force-closing the app or rebooting. I find that turning off the wifi helps, but only a little. All of the books I'm using are downloaded (my whole library is downloaded.)

Most recently, it took this form. I have a setup called NT Reading. It has 7 windows open, several of them split between two resources: NRSV, SBL GNT, NET notes, etc.

Swiping left/right between two frequently causes the screen to pause or hang/crash mid-swipe, screenshot.

Sometimes when I swipe successfully, a book simply fails to "load." Note how this has no title in the upper right, no corresponding reference (even though it is linked), and the text just ends. I often find this kind of odd "missing text" issue.

Often I get a spinning wheel, like something is downloading, or loading into memory. This can last upwards of 20-30 seconds when left alone, even though the book is downloaded and wifi is off.  Note how the NET Notes in the top pane have no Bible reference, no book name upper right, and the "processing" circle.

I don't know what to do here. It's been pervasive and continuing. Anyone else having this problem?

    Bump.

This isn’t happening to anyone else?

Maybe I delete the app, and stick with the non-beta.

    Hi Ben,

I’ll look into this right away and will get back to you. Is this still happening on 8.9.0 (43)?

I couldn’t say. I deleted and reverted back to the Apple store iOS version. I haven’t yet downloaded my resources and recreated my reading setups.

iOS display rendering problems like this have existed since 2013 while in Scrolling View; not just in Beta versions but also in Stable versions.
