Weird install behavior
I keep getting this message-
Even though the (Windows) application says this-
If it downloads resources and asks for a restart, it restarts, and I get the 'did not succeed' popup again.
I need a solution. I pray it will not involve uploading logs, or my head might explode.
???
UPDATE: a few seconds after I composed the post above, this was added to the operation-
Eating a steady diet of government cheese, and living in a van down by the river.

I won't ask for logs in case it resolves the issue[:D]

then restart Logos.
If all is well you can delete the renamed folders.

It seemed too easy to be true. Looks like it was. I got this-

Hi Doc,
Can you run the JavaScript files to enable logging(1) LogosSetup and run LogosSetup from www.logos.com/install?
If you get the same error can you post the new logs?
(1) Step 4 here will show you how to enable "full time logging" which will log the setup process. https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027869132-How-to-Enable-and-Submit-Log-Files

Probably not. I guess you missed my almost visceral negative response above to being asked to be a programmer to fix the software (i.e., collect and post logs).
I'll see if I can figure it out.

Try
- Delete UpdateManager folder as previously
- Delete DownloadManager folder as previously
- Run LogosSetup.exe from https://www.logos.com/install to install the current version.
