BUG: Reading plan (iOS)
I am running iOS 13.3 on my iPhone 11. The app is the current beta (8.10.0). I created a reading plan on my desktop. It syncs properly to my iPad, but on my iPhone it does not appear properly. The note DOCUMENT shows, but when opened, gives me a "generate plan" page (see screenshot below). I created this plan on New Years Eve. When I first noticed this issue, I thought that might have been the problem, but it persists to today (January 5)
Should I click “generate?” If so, that is counter intuitive.

Bump
Dozens of reading plan cases already exist going back many years. This likely won't get fixed so you know the drill. Delete the reading plan and create it again until it seems to work on both iPad and iPhone devices.

JT, thanks for your patience. Unfortunately I've been unable to replicate yet. Could you please "Report a Problem" from the app and send those logs directly to me (firstname dot lastname at faithlife.com)?

Thanks JT, got your logs.
We think there may be some circumstances where a reading plan created on the desktop may be synced to a mobile device before the reading plan sessions have been created.
Still looking at the logs, but here is something we might try.
1) Close the app on your mobile devices
2) On the desktop, do something that will regenerate the readings. For instance, change the resource from the CSB to the ESV (or something) and then back to the CSB. Force a sync from the desktop.
3) Open mobile device, do a "Sync now" and wait for that to finish. Open the reading plan to see if it has sessions now.

That makes sense. I deviated slightly from your suggestion. All seems well now... here is what I did:
- I killed the app, restarted the device and opened it back up just in case... no joy.
- I clicked the "generate" button... It created a reading plan, but not the one expected (Discipleship Journal). Instead it created a simple "read through the Bible/ one reading per day" plan.
- I killed the app again and opened up desktop. The mobile app synced the new (wrong) plan to desktop, overwriting what I had. I reconfigured it back to what I had and synced.
- When I opened mobile, all was well.
- FWIW - I double checked my iPad afterwards, and it seemed to handle the sync OK too.
Thanks for your help.
