Daily Deal, upgrade???

The daily deal today is this: https://www.logos.com/product/31003/wisdom-and-wonder-common-grace-in-science-and-art
I already own this book (the complete book) from here (a couple years ago) : https://www.logos.com/product/55066/excerpts-from-the-abraham-kuyper-collected-works-in-public-theology
Just wondering if I am going to get the upgrade because I already own it.
My copy in my library does not have page numbers and what ever else comes with the newer copy.

The daily deal is actually an older book, you can see the publication date on the page you linked, also the publishers for both are different, so not upgrade.
Edit - I just checked contents of the one you have, and it is the full book, and is by the same translator, and from the sample pages, it has the same intro. The Christian Press noted as the publisher in the Daily Deal version is part of The Acton Institute mentioned in the copyright for the Lexham one you have. So probably the same book re-licensed for Lexham to use or something.

Thanks for the reply!! I really just want the upgrade for the page numbers, it makes for a better footnote. I hope logos sees this, they always say you only buy a book once. Thanks again for the reply.

The volume you own, is also the volume I own and it was free when I got it. So should I expect the newer volume for free as well? I am just asking a question.

Hi all,
Second editions of resources generally do not qualify for free unlocks.
In this case, the two resources are two different versions of the same resource from two different publishers.
That being said, we're looking into the possibility of updating the "Excerpts from the Abraham Kuyper Collected Works in Public Theology (3 vols.)" resource with page numbers. No promises, but I'll keep you updated!

Well this is the first time I have been in this situation. as far as dealing with a free book. I know if we paid for it we would get it for free. I am just hoping that they will retain the same method as before. But it is up to them. It would be nice if someone from faithlife would chime in to let us know.
Edit he beat me to the punch, thanks
