The Mobile team is pleased to announce the 8.12.0 (13) Beta release of the Logos, Faithlife Study Bible, Biblia, Faithlife Ebooks and Verbum apps. The apps should be available in TestFlight.

If you wish to install the beta apps please open the links below using your Apple mobile device.

If you discover any issues please open the Help menu and tap Report a Problem, and include the following information in your email:

Description – How were you using the app when the problem occurred?
Reproduction Steps - Please clearly explain how to reproduce the issue.
App Info – Which app you are using (Logos Bible, Verbum, Faithlife Study Bible, Faithlife Ebooks or Biblia).
Device Info – (iPad Pro 9.7, iPhone X, iPad Pro 11", etc.)
iOS Version – (11.4, 12.1, 12.3, etc.)

Added support for bulk editing of note tags.

Updated the verse picker to make it more predictable to navigate to chapters and verses. We've grouped them in columns of 5/10/etc in order to make visually scanning for the verse target easier.
Various improvements to the Prayers user interface.

Fixed

Fixed library searches for resources with quotes (i.e. "God’s Word Translation"). Reported here.
Fixed an issue where Proclaim signals were covered by the bottom tab bar.
Fixed an issue where popups were covered by the bottom tab bar.
Fixed an issue that truncated the content of certain Faithlife Study Bible tables (for example, Jesus' "I Am" Statements in the notes for John 15:1).
Fixed an issue where the search collection title would overflow for monographs with long titles.

BUG iOS Reader Suite 8.12.0 (12) Beta Release

Since I updated to this version a few minutes ago I have two issues.

1 I have the NIV 84 linked with the Notes Tool. when i attempt to expand an existing note it opens briefly then disappears leaving the notes section blank. If I minimize the linked srt and expand it again the Note Tool opens again but without the expanded note. If I try to expand it again it disappears again. I've tried different notes and the same thing happens. I've tried closing both the Notes tool and the NIV, then reopening and relinking, the same problem occurs. If I just open the Note unlinked it works fine.

2 When I attempt to use the "report a problem" link, Logos crashes. That's why I am reporting it here.

Thanks Bill, appreciate the report. I've identified your first issue, and have a fix for it. We might try to push another beta tomorrow to address that.

The second issue sure is unfortunate. We'll likely have a fix for that by next week.

1. I’m experiencing the same problem Bill is with Report a Problem.

2. Accessibility suggestion: the new Prayer modal does not offer any visual cues on how to close the modal. The only way to close the modal is a swipe down. For accessibility and consistency across the app, a “cancel” link to close the modal would be good.

3. I like that Prayer gets some more room. Finally, the entire prayer opens in the text field on the Prayer detail state. This has long been a problem at least for me where you could not see the whole prayer unless you opened in Logos desktop. Thank you!

4. The verse selector is nice, the 5/10 idea was pretty solid. Allows for muscle memory to help.

Thanks for pointing this out, Grant. That was indeed an oversight, and will be fixed in the next beta.
