Logos Mobile 8 Incompatible with the Most Recent Version of Kindle Fire HD

My wife and I both have Kindle Fire HD tablets. Hers is the newest version, while mine is older. The mobile app continues to work on my older tablet but not on hers. She was able to use it yesterday, but when she tried again this evening, none of the resources would open. Instead, she got a message that the license for each resource was missing. Everything appeared in the library, but no content could be viewed in any resource. I thought maybe the app had become corrupted, so I uninstalled it. When I tried to reinstall it, both the Google Play Store and the Amazon Kindle Store said the app is no longer compatible with her device. 

Has anyone else experienced this problem?
