I hope you acted because it's gone. Presumably this means I'll be getting an upgrade when it's released

I've owned that book for a long time, but the Logos pre-pub doesn't show as "owned" for me. Does that mean we're not going to receive the free upgrade...?
Edit: Actually, that's not even a pre-pub any longer.

In most cases you will, but sometimes prodding is needed. However: The book must be EXACT. If the book has a different ISBN, the publisher considers it a "different" book... sometimes they only update the cover and the blurb, yet it is considered a "different" book. In that case, no, you will not get it.

It's identical.
Then you should receive it for free - it's just that this is not a standard process. Faithlife needs to be 'nudged' to do this.
They made it disappear from Faithlife ebooks in a matter of hours so they must be aware it's the same book. Perhaps the right and left hands need to shake but in this time of pandemic that might have to wait for them to meet.

The one is irrelevant to the other. FL does not intend to have two editions of most books available for sale.

FL doesn't have a good system for dealing with these things. It is apparent that FLEB is merely a "hobby" business (my words, not theirs) for them. Despite the aggravations from time to time, I am still very excited to have these titles available in my Library... and the discounts in FLEB that are available due to the different licensing agreements FL has with the publishers.
