Latency when advancing slides

We are using vMix for streaming our meetings. Our presentation PC is connected to our streaming PC through NDI.
We experience too often that there is latency from a slide is advanced in Proclaim until it appears in vMix, and we are talking seconds. The screen that is mirrored, displays ok. Sometimes it seems to hang (30 sec before I lost patience), and that it helps to take a quick step back and advance again. Some settings or tweaks that I do not know about?
Btw. we are not having the same issue with Easyworship 6.

How are you capturing Proclaim’s output? With scan converter? And you are sending this over ethernet? Im not sure why there would be a delay. That sounds more like NDI/network issues. If the computer running Proclaim doesn’t have a delay, then it I’m not sure what we could do. Maybe connect the two computers via an ethernet cable directly?
If you are using NDI Scan converter, perhaps it just has some delay...

Yes, we are using NDI scan. But we have not experienced the same issue with Easyworship which we have been using for some years. As we are considering upgrading or change, we are now testing out Proclaim. Previously we have just used lyrics full screen, so with lower third there are more slides and faster changes. We´ve made a workaround in EW to make lower third and will try it out this week to see if we get the same problem.

I've just set up a two computer rig to do just this. I found that when I originally tried to use the NDI protocol from my laptop to my streaming computer, there was a delay, especially on videos. I made sure that when I made our proclaim computer, that it had enough cores to process the video out of OBS, so chose a Ryzen 5 over a Ryzen 3, and paired DDR 4 3000mhz ram with the setup.
We also set up a switch at the sound desk so that the computers were connected via ethernet.
