Commentary Types
Hi,
Can anybody help me please?
I have just started tagging my library, it is quite large and is a slow old job. One of the problems I am having is deciding which type the various commentaries are. I am trying to tag them as Critical, Devotional or Exegetical. Is there any way I can find out what category they fall into without having to read large chunks of each one, which is going to take forever and a day! Or perhaps somebody could suggest a better range of types. I have just followed the selection criteria recommended by Morris Proctor.
Thank you,
Tony.

Many of us find the work done by Mark Barnes on this - https://community.logos.com/forums/t/88829.aspx?PageIndex=1 - really helpful

Hi Graham,
Well, what a speed merchant you are - you answered that question almost before I answererd it (you don't work for Amazon, do you?) Sitting in my flat under lockdown, because my wife is very vulnerable. However, it has given me a load of time to get fully to grips with Logos.
Anyway, all joking aside that is MOST helpful indeed. I had a nagging feeling at the back of my mind that I had seen something along those lines but I couldn't find it.
Have a great day,
Tony.

Concur. Thread => Creating a New Series of Commentaries may have some tag/title ideas to consider.
